Terms Of Service
We will work following your brief to create the exact look that you request taking into account your wishes and preferences. We will offer you a couple of options to choose from in our meetings and provide a final design scheme, design report and mood board with all samples as agreed in our meetings.
Your final design scheme will be your personal choice, which you will have selected from several ideas presented. Therefore Katy Ellis Interiors Ltd or any of its employees cannot be held responsible or liable for any dissatisfaction of the finished appearance.
Our Trades People
After a long time in business we have carefully selected the very best approved trades people from check a trade members or which trusted traders as we are members ourselves.
We aim to ensure:
- Work is carried out to the high standard
- Site is always left tidy at the end of the day
- Adequate protection is used to protect clients furniture and fixtures
- Take care of client property while carrying the work
- Complete the work as scheduled
Quotation/Estimate
A quotation is a binding agreement as to the price: an estimate is subject to confirmation or change. Quotation or estimates will be provided formally in writing including detailed specification of the work to be done.
Terms of payment will be made clear and confirmed upfront. VAT will be included where applicable.
Deposits/Advanced payments
Payment for the Design Scheme will be required in advance. Before ordering materials or bespoke items we will ask you to sign the extra copy of the estimate or quotation that has been provided to you to confirm your order. When we manage the project work for you a deposit will be required for the trades people before starting the work. This will not exeed 50% of the job value.
The terms of payment will be agreed between both parties before commencing the work and all payment must be paid as agreed.
Order Cancellation
Katy Ellis Interiors Ltd does not levy a cancellation charge. However some of our manufacturers and suppliers may do so under their own terms and conditions. Any charges levied for cancellation or returned of goods will be recharged or deducted from payments already received at a cost. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Late Payment fee
In accordance with the late payment legislation, our company charges debt recovery costs and interest on late payment of 5% per week + any additional charges from subcontractors to us.
